August 30th was Eli's baby dedication. We were super excited about his dedication coming up at Cottonwood Creek. We love our church and sunday school class, having made some great friendships and are glad to be apart of this church home. As soon as we found out which weekend they were having it we made plans to have our family and friends come celebrate this special day with us. Here we are waiting for the service to start....

After church we had everyone over for lunch and fellowship....it was a great day and I am glad to have so many good friends and our familes to share this with.

well now wait a second... i had seen that baby dedication was supposed to be august 30th, but then when they asked me to work nursery that day, and i told them i had planned on doing baby dedication that day... they told me it was moved to september 27th! which, when i saw your post about your family coming in, it made me think maybe someone was confused and we'd already missed it (which i guess we did) so I didn't look into getting papers filled out for 9/27 cause i thought that surely they weren't doing another one so soon. apparently i was wrong, and we missed that one too! :( boo. so now we're having to do the 12/20 one, all right up in the middle of Christmas travels and such. glad you got the right information from people and were able to get Eli's done already though!
What a sweet day. We're doing the dedication next weekend. I can't wait!
