Christmas Blessings

This Christmas season has already been filled with many blessings! I just wanted to share a few things that God has blessed us with this year, and things I am thankful for...
1. Ryan and I have been married 3 1/2 years, and counting....
2. Ryan- he has been one of the biggest blessings in my life, supporting me in everything I do and loving me no matter what! He can always put a smile on my face when I feel down....I love you!
3. Our health
4. We have a healthy baby on the way in May -20 weeks, already half way through!
5. We have 2 great families that love us and are soon to be grandparents
6. For the jobs Ryan and I have, and the SIT test Ryan just found out he PASSED!!!
7. For the great friends that we have found in our neighborhood. Who knew we would all get along so well!
8. God providing so that that we could pay my car off 8 months early, and get rid of all of our credit card bills before the baby comes!
9. Maggie and Axel, they are the best puppies ever and make us laugh every day
10. And most of all, MY GOD! We would have nothing if he did not provide for us. I can do all things through him who strengthens me!

Christmas is in the air!

This past weekend, I finally finished the tree and put up the garland and stockings. I love
decorating for Christmas!
This was the first year we had a "big tree"9 ft! We needed a ladder just to get to the top! I decided to use Chocolate brown, and turquoise, with lots of feathers and girly things..sorry ryan

Baby William

Yesterday my good friend Amy had her son, William. Today I went to visit the new mom and
baby, both are doing well.
What a cutie!

The cold weather is here!

Last night I walked into the living room and this is what I found...
I think that the dogs are starting to "feel" the cold weather, so I went out and bought them sweaters today. I am not usually one to dress them up, but I thought these might keep them warm. Aren't they cute!

Halloween 2008

Hey everyone! Sorry that it has taken me so long to post again, but my laptop has been out of service for a while. Now that I finally have it back, I really have to catch up!! Here are some pics from halloween and carving pumpkins with the neighbors...they turned out pretty good!

State Fair-2008

It's that time of the year for the fair! I personally LOVE the state fair and Ryan could care less...boooo on him. Luckily I have great friends at work that love the fair too, so we took a girls trip today to the fair! We stuffed ourselves with the new food adventures that the fair offered this year, sat in all the new 2009 cars, and saw a really big pig!
Big TEX!

Corny dogs...yummy!!

It's called Fire and Ice! YUMMY....
fried pineapple and toppings

and of course funnel cake
Ashley's daughter, Lily, loved the fair food too!
(and the buttons on my shirt..ha...so cute!)

Anna and I goofing around at the end of the day
and last but not least...the big, NASTY pig!

The painting project

I've had the thought of painting some of the other rooms in our house for a while now. Finally I got the itch to just do it! Thankfully since I am really not supposed to be "painting", this past weekend I kinda helped my sweet mom and neighbor, Amy, do all the hard work. We painted the kitchen, wall of the fireplace, and the dining room. It was an all day project, and can't believe that we got it all done! So here is the project....

Telling Ryan's parents

The first weekend in October was Ryan's dad's birthday. We decided to tell his family on this weekend, trying to be creative....here is what we came up with, what do you think?

A pic after telling the news...

11 weeks on wednesday...

We are creeping up on the end of the trimester and I couldn't be more excited! I have another doctor's appt on Wednesday and will be 11 weeks along. I hear from everyone that once you pass the 1st trimester that all the nausea and complete exhaustion will go away!! (or at least let's hope so!) Over all I really have been feeling on the better side of things, the main thing now is the feeling of that in between stage of being prego, and no one knows, and looking like i just "ate to much" all the time! Here is a pic from tonight, almost 11 weeks!

A little one is on its way in MAY!

Hi everyone! Ryan and I are excited to say we will be having a baby in MAY! I am almost 10 weeks along, and we just told our families the good news. The due date is offically may the 6th, 2009. I am feeling pretty good, but do have my days of nausea and exhaustion! Here is a picture of our sonogram at 7 1/2 weeks, and my tummy at 5 wks. I guess its time to start saying goodbye to the abs!
