Tornado...nope just bad weather!

Well I know that is has been about a month or more since I have posted, but we have been super busy. These are some pics that Ryan took of the dogs and I when we had some "tornado like" weather about a month ago. It just ended up being hail and a bunch of rain, but the tornado sirens did go off! Ryan being such a good husband did make us get

into the bathtub until it was all clear! Thanks for being so protective!

Decorating the nursery...part 2

So here is part 2...painting the stripes in the nursery. My mom came over this afternoon and worked magic in just a few hours! It looks great and really adds to the room!

Now on to step 3, adding crown molding, and shelving to his closet....this is Ryan and my dad's project!

Lunch with friends

On friday I got together with some friends from work for lunch. We had such a great time, and 2 of them I hadn't gotten to see since they had their babies.

27 week belly pics

Sorry, it's been about 5 wks since I have posted any belly pics. Tomorrow I will be exactly 27 wks and next week, starting my 3rd trimester! It's crazy but I only have 13 weeks before our baby boy will be here, and we can't wait! He is very active, and Ryan has been able to feel him too!

I think that my belly button is about to flatten out! Weird!

Decorating the nursery...part 1

Things have been very busy around our house, trying to get ready for Eli! We finally picked out paint colors for the room and have set our plan into action. Here is the room before we started...

All of the walls are going to be green, and on the wall the crib will be on we are going to paint blue stripes.

The room is now green, and the stripes are to come! Stay tuned...

Eli's Stuff

Eli Reynolds....

Ryan and I have had a name picked out for a little boy even before we knew what our sweet bundle of joy would be. We are still working on a middle name, but have a pretty good idea. Now that we have boy on the brain, we have the room cleaned out and I have already done some shopping!

Also....we ordered our nursery furniture before Thanksgiving and on Saturday we finally got the crib and glider. We were so busy that we didn't get home until late, but we were both so excited that we started putting the crib together at midnight!! It is so cute, and I can't wait to decorate it with bedding.

We are going to decorate the nursery in chocolate brown, green, and hint of light blue. Here are the fabrics we have picked out for the bedding. Thankfully my mom is very talented and is making the bedding!! I can't wait to show it off....stay tuned to see...
