Hanging out with Aunt Denise

A couple of weekend's ago Ryan's sister's son, Colton had a basketball game in the Ft. Worth area so we took advantage of going to see our nephews and family and enjoy the afternoon watching the game and eating at Joe T. Garcia's. We had a great time visiting and some good laughs and I really think Eli enjoyed watching all the people. He was so serious when the game was on, and then at the half he finally gave us a big boy smile!

8 Months

I am about a month behind, but here are the 8 month pics. Eli is doing so much these days...he is crawling everywhere, trying out the sippy cup, getting into everything and babbling! So far the only thing that I can make out is "ba ba". I hope "ma ma" is next! :) The pics with the monkey are definitely getting harder and harder to get, he just doesn't want to sit still!

Eli and Santa

Ok, so I thought that my last post would have been the last one from the Christmas season of '09, but I totally forgot to put Eli's pic with Santa on here! It was one of those things I just couldn't wait to get pics of, thus I can't believe I didn't put it on here yet!!! Eli did great with Santa this year....we went to Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine and will definitely go back from now on to see Santa there. The line was not that long, the Santa was a great looking one, a real beard and all, and we had so much fun!

Eli and Santa! After we got our pics with Santa we walked around for a bit, Eli enjoyed sitting on the 4 wheeler with daddy, looking at the big fish in the fish tank and riding the merry go round with mommy!

Christmas at the Reynolds

Here is the final blog posting for Christmas 2009! These are pics from Christmas at Ryan's parents house. We had a great time and even got to enjoy some snow! It was beautiful! This was Eli's true " first experience" with snow! We let him stand in it and he was truly amazed with this new white stuff. We also rolled up a little snow ball and of coarse it went straight to his mouth...so cute!

Christmas Night and Stockings
